Digital media by Kim Shipton printed onto quality cotton/linen cloth.
‘This photograph captures an ancient rock platform in Ku ring gai Chase National park, Sydney. The lineal markings are caused by water erosion. These nature ‘carvings’ have curved shapes which evoke a mysteriousness to their formation. (In certain parts of the platform not photographed, early indigenous peoples have carved images of sea creatures which include whales and stingrays). Over the years, when I visit this special place it changes with more vegetation growing and hiding the platform. I always feel a deep and spiritual connection here’.
